Our assembly lines complete our internal supply chain, transforming the components into cabs for forklift trucks, construction machinery, railway maintenance vehicles, and special vehicles.
Cab Assembly
Assembly and Final Outfitting
Assembly of the cabs is the final stage of Forghieri’s internal supply chain. In this phase, the metal structural and glass components, manufactured in our internal departments to customer specifications, are integrated and completed through to the required trim level. On request, we can install any system or accessory, such as electricals, lighting and headlights, windscreen washer/wipers, climate control, and driver seat with driving and hydraulic controls.
The assembly levels available are as follows:
- Panels for final assembly by the customer:
- Doors with/without windows
- Roofs with/without grilles
- Front/rear windows with/without relative accessories
- Cab structure without panels
- Monocoque cabs with the trim level requested by the customer
Also available are supplementary protection and transport solutions, such as roll bars, baggage racks, and grilles. We can procure all components directly, or they can be supplied by the customer.
Spare Parts Service
Forghieri’s after-sales service also extends to the supply of spare parts, customized to customer requirements and the specifications of the supplied cab

Production Lines and Capacity
Our two production plants — 13,000 m² dedicated to the metal structure and assembly, and 8,000 m² dedicated to glass — feature multi-product lines and dedicated machining cells allowing different models to be managed simultaneously, with reduced setup times, total traceability, and total compliance with the agreed timeframes.
We can supply assembled, finished cabs ready for installation on the customer’s machine. Otherwise, thanks to Just in Sequence integration with the customer’s supply chain, we can supply panels assembled, inspected and shipped precisely in the order required by the production plan, guaranteeing continuity, punctuality and complete traceability. Thus, assembly becomes not just a production phase, but also a strategic node of synchronization between Forghieri and the customer.

FAQ
The assembly incorporates internal structural and glass components (if the glass is part of the customer request) according to the level of finish and trim required by the customer. These activities take place on multi-product lines and in dedicated cells, with controlled cycle times and total traceability.
Preassembly of doors, roofs, front and rear panels, windows, accessory kits and partially completed cabs is performed.
Every phase of the assembly involves dedicated inspection procedures and functional tests. All this is managed by our Quality Assurance department.
